Josephine's materials are dictated by the individual work she creates. They range from paintings on canvas or paper to collages with found objects and images. Generally an abstract background is painted in acrylic and the images emerge and create layers. Materials include acrylic paint, oil paint, glitter, watercolor, gouache, ink, chalk pastel, graphite, as well as random found objects. Her most recent series uses seashells, coral, driftwood, and remnants from nature.
